Build with Macaron
Macaron, I’ve recently realized I’m really bad at managing money. My salary is almost gone just a few days after payday, and by the end of the month I’m always broke.
I want to create a finance assistant to help me record my income and expenses—at least so I can figure out where all my money is going. Ideally, it should let me set a monthly budget and remind me when I’m about to overspend, because right now I have no sense of control.
It would be even better if I could see categorized statistics and trend charts, so I’d know if I’m spending way too much on dining or other areas.
I also have some Chinese funds and regular investment plans, but I’ve been manually tracking them in Excel, which is a real pain. Could the assistant let me record investments directly, calculate my total returns, and show my asset distribution with a pie chart?
Another idea: I want to save for a trip. Could you let me set a goal, like saving 10,000 yuan in three months, and show me a progress bar that moves forward each time I save money? That would really motivate me.
And finally, I’d love a monthly summary—something that tells me where I spent my money last month and how much I earned from my investments.
